Commitment Period:
The Kyoto Protocol mandated industrialized nations to maintain the stability of their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Reporting on the realized reductions or removals of GHG emissions occurred during two designated accounting periods: Commitment Period 1 (CP1), spanning from 2008 to 2012and Commitment Period 2 (CP2) spanning from 2013 to 2020. Each offset is associated with a specific commitment period.
